【国際協力学研究科】インドネシア・リンケージ・プログラムの修了式が行われました

7月30日、文京キャンパスE館9階展望ラウンジで、大学院国際協力学研究科インドネシア・リンケージ・プログラムの修了式が執り行われました。
今回は、博士(国際開発)を授与されるバグース・パムブディ君をはじめ、2年間のレギュラー・コースを修了し修士(国際開発)を授与される学生が1名、1年間在学して同じく修士(国際開発)を授与される8名の合計10名が出席しました。
インドネシア・リンケージ・プログラムでは、博士の学位を出すのは初めてです。バグース君は、2011年9月から翌年7月まで本研究科の博士前期課程に在籍、修了した後、2016年9月に博士後期課程に入学しました。
鈴木昭一副学長は、アクティブ・ラーニングとクリティカル・シンキングの重要性を指摘した上で、帰国後も学び続けることを奨励する祝辞を述べました。
修了生からは、拓殖大学への謝辞とともに、今月永眠された故・梶原弘和前研究科委員長への哀悼の意が伝えられました。
インドネシア・リンケージ・プログラムは、インドネシアの地方公務員を英語で教育するダブル・ディグリー・プログラムで、インドネシアと日本のそれぞれの大学で学位取得を目指します。大学院国際協力学研究科では、2007年から学生を受け入れ、すでに100人を超える修了生がインドネシアに帰国して活躍しています。
Commencement Ceremony of the Indonesia Linkage Program
Takushoku University Graduate School of International Cooperation (GSICS)
On July 30, 2019, the commencement ceremony of GSICS's Indonesia Linkage Program took place at the 9th floor lounge of Building E on the university's Bunkyo campus. At this ceremony, ten attendees of the program were awarded, including Bagus Pambudi who was awarded with Doctor of Philosophy in International Development, an awardee of Master of International Development after a two-year regular course, as well as eight awardees of the same Master of International Development degree after a one-year course.
Bagus Pambudi became the first awardee of doctorate degree from the Indonesia Linkage Program. After studying at GSICS's master's program from September 2011 through July 2012, Bagus proceeded to the doctoral program in September 2016.
At the ceremony, Shoichi Suzuki, Vice President of Takushoku University, delivered a commencement speech in which he stressed the importance of "active learning and critical thinking" and encouraged the graduates to continue their studies after they returned home. (See attached)
In return, ten graduates expressed their gratitude to Takushoku University and their condolences to late Hirokazu Kajiwara, former Dean of GSICS who passed away in July.
Indonesia Linkage Program is a double degree program designed to train Indonesian local government officials in English so that they can earn academic degrees from both an Indonesian and Japanese universities. GSICS started accepting Indonesian students in 2007 and, as of today, more than 100 have completed the program and returned home to contribute to the country's development.
