【国際協力学研究科】博士論文が出版されました

今年度から大学院国際協力学研究科で非常勤講師として教鞭をとる伊藤晋先生は、同研究科で2021年3月に博士(国際開発)の学位を授与されましたが、この度、その博士論文が世界最大規模の学術書籍出版社であるSpringer Natureから『Infrastructure Development and Public-Private Partnership: The Case of the Philippines』というタイトルで出版されました。同書は、フィリピンのインフラ開発における公共投資と官民連携の役割に関する最近の極端な政策変容に焦点を当てることにより、開発途上国における官民連携インフラ開発について包括的に分析した一冊です。
これを機会に、現在同研究科博士後期課程1年で学位取得を目指しているネパールからの留学生ネウパネ・ガネシュ(Neupane Ganesh)さんと丸山実紗さんが、博士後期課程での研究などについてお話を伺いました。伊藤先生からは、自身の博士論文執筆の過程、スケジュール、学位論文受理審査会での指摘事項への対応等についてお話し頂き、博士後期課程における研究について、更に理解を深める機会となりました。

Dr. ITO Susumu, who teaches as a concurrent lecturer at the Graduate School of International Cooperation Studies from this year, was awarded a doctoral degree in international development in March 2021 at the same graduate school. His doctoral thesis was recently published by Springer Nature, the world leading research, educational and professional publisher, under the title "Infrastructure Development and Public-Private Partnership: The Case of the Philippines". The book analyzes public-private partnership (PPP) infrastructure development in developing countries by focusing on recent drastic policy changes concerning the roles of public finance and PPP in infrastructure development in the Philippines.
Taking this opportunity, Mr. Neupane Ganesh and Ms. MARUYAMA Misa, who are currently in the first year of the doctoral program at the same graduate school, had meeting with Dr. Ito on their research in the doctoral program. Dr. ITO talked about his research while in the doctoral program including the process of writing the doctoral dissertation, its schedule, and the way to respond to comments by the thesis acceptance examination committee. It was a good opportunity to deepen their understanding of research in the doctoral program.
