Awarding ceremony of "Volunteer Certificate" to SA members of the Bekka in 2023 was held.

On Thursday, January 25, 2024, the Bekka Japanese Language Program held a volunteer certificate presentation ceremony for Bekka SA (Student Assistant) at the Bunkyo Campus in Tokyo. Bekka SA is an official volunteer organization of current Takushoku University students who support Bekka students from all over the world (12 countries in academic year 2023). For one year, from April to January, they mainly assist in class seminars on Thursdays, accompany Bekka students on extracurricular trips (one day), study tours (one night and two days), and Japanese culture experience programs, and plan and manage class exchange parties at the end of the academic year. In academic year 2023, eight current Takushoku University students received volunteer certificates from the Bekka dean INOUE Osamu. Bekka SA members are able to experience world culture firsthand while in Japan through interaction with Bekka students, and Bekka students are able to learn about the latest Japanese culture through interaction with current Takushoku University students of the same generation. The unique SA organization of the Bekka provides an opportunity for Bekka SA members and Bekka students to gain valuable cross-cultural experiences.
