Individual Interviews for all the Bekka Students Held.

掲載日:2025年01月31日

On Thursday, November 28, the Bekka, Intensive Japanese language Program, held interviews for all students. In preparation for the interviews, students learnt Japanese-style interview techniques, especially for those aiming to continue their studies at universities or graduate schools in Japan after completing the Bekka. The interviews were conducted individually with teachers who are not in charge of their class seminars. The students were asked about their academic progress in the program and their future plans, responding in Japanese. For students hoping to enter Takushoku University through the 2025 recommended admission by Bekka, this interview served as the final interview test.
A student from Thailand reflects on this experience, saying, "I think Japanese interviews are quite different from those in Thailand, simpler and friendlier, and the dress code is not as strict as in Japan. However, the manners towards the interviewers and the preparation to build confidence are the same. Through this interview, I learnt how Japanese interviews are conducted and what steps I should take to prepare. I believe this experience will be helpful when I have to attend an interview in Japan in the future." The Bekka students seemed to have had a meaningful day, despite feeling nervous.
