掲載日:2025年04月08日
The 2024 edition of the "Essay Collection" for the Bekka, Intensive Japanese Language Program, was completed. This collection consists of essays written by all Bekka students. For them, it serves as a marker of their current level of Japanese proficiency and, in the future, will be a reference point to track their progress in learning Japanese. In the process of creating this collection, the students learned various methods of Japanese expression and experienced writing Japanese by hand with a pencil on traditional Japanese manuscript paper. Below is an essay and its reflection by Mx. SUWANNAPHA CHANANYA from Thailand, who started learning Japanese in the Bekka in September 2024 and has since developed the ability to write beautiful Japanese characters.
"Writing this essay allowed me to reflect on the importance of the people around me. It wasn't easy to choose this topic, and it took a long time. In the writing course, I learned Japanese composition skills, the ability to organize my thoughts, the appropriate use of vocabulary, and the skill of writing one character per square box vertically. I think these skills will be very useful in the future. Thanks to this, I was able to feel a connection with the calm and orderly beauty of Japanese culture and the Japanese people."
