【School of Bekka, Intensive Japanese Language Program】2022 Distinctive Educational Activities ①：A spring extracurricular program was held.
6月2日（木）、別科日本語教育課程では、本学「八王子国際キャンパス」の施設見学と、「西武園ゆうえんち」でのアミューズメントパーク体験学習による課外研修を実施しました。
文京キャンパスのある茗荷谷駅前からバス3台で移動し、午前中は「八王子国際キャンパス」を希望により３班に分け見学しました。八王子留学生寮や体育施設、恩賜記念館、図書館、工学部実験実習工場などを見学した後、昼食時には、別科から八王子国際キャンパスの学部へ進学した先輩学生から、大学生活の体験談を聞く機会を得ました。昼過ぎには埼玉県所沢市の「西武園ゆうえんち」へ移動し、日本の昭和レトロの世界を体験しました。別科生は留学生同士だけでなく、担当教員や別科スチューデントアシスタントとの交流を更に深めることができました。
【English】On June 2 (Thu), the Bekka, Intensive Japanese Language Program conducted an extracurricular program that included a tour of the "Hachioji International Campus" and a hands-on learning experience at the amusement park at "Seibu-en Yuenchi".
The Bekka students traveled by three buses from Myogadani Station, where the Bunkyo Campus is located, and in the morning were divided into three groups for a tour of the Hachioji International Campus, according to their wishes. After touring the Hachioji International Student Dormitory, sports facilities, Onshi Memorial Hall, the library, and the Faculty of Engineering's experimental training factory, the students had an opportunity to hear about their university life experiences from senior students who had entered undergraduate schools on the Hachioji International Campus from the Bekka during lunch time. Then, they moved to "Seibu-en Yuenchi" in Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture, to experience the world of Japanese Showa Retro. They were able to further deepen exchanges not only with other international students but also with faculty members and Bekka Student Assistants.
＊別科スチューデントアシスタントは、毎週木曜日のクラスゼミや別科行事の際に、クラス担任や別科生のサポートをしつつ別科生と交流する拓殖大学学部生です。（拓殖大学別科公式ボランティア活動）
