2024 Distinctive Educational Activities ②:A Tanabata festival was held.
掲載日:2024年08月08日
On Thursday, July 4, a Tanabata festival (Star Festival) was held during class seminar time. Writing wishes on strips of paper (tanzaku) and hanging them on bamboo branches is a custom of the Tanabata festival. The Bekka students learned about the history and significance of this custom in their class seminar. Together with the Bekka Student Assistants (SAs), they engaged in Japanese conversation while creating Tanabata decorations such as origami cranes and small bags (kinchaku). Each Bekka student wrote their wishes in Japanese on a tanzaku and enjoyed a fun time together as a class.
Bekka Student Assistants are Takushoku University undergraduate students who interact with Bekka students by assisting class teachers and Bekka students during class seminars and events held every Thursday. (Official volunteer activities of the Bekka, Takushoku University)
