On Thursday, December 12, the second round of the scholarship award ceremony for the Bekka, Intensive Japanese Language Program was held in Room C402, Bunkyo Campus, at Takushoku University (Tokyo, Japan). The five selected scholarship recipients each expressed their joy at receiving the award and shared their aspirations for the future.

■Mx. ZHANG KE (China)
I would like to express my sincere gratitude for being awarded this scholarship. I will use it responsibly to support my future graduate studies. Since coming to Japan, I have received invaluable guidance from many instructors at the Bekka, which has greatly improved my Japanese language skills. In the future, I aim to conduct research in ecology and contribute to the conservation of biodiversity. Furthermore, I am committed to deepening academic exchange between Japan and China and creating more opportunities for collaborative research between the two countries.

■Mx. SHI YUJIE (China)
I am truly honored to have been selected for this scholarship, and I extend my heartfelt gratitude. I plan to use the scholarship to cover expenses for materials and books necessary for continuing my Japanese studies. Even before coming to Japan, I have had a strong interest in cultural exchange between China and Japan, which has been a significant driving force behind my commitment to learning Japanese in the Bekka. If given the opportunity, I hope to further my studies, pursue a doctoral program, and eventually teach courses on Japanese cinema. Additionally, I aspire to contribute to the promotion of Japanese culture and the enhancement of cultural exchange between China and Japan.

■Mx. GANZORING SARANGOO (Mongolia)
Thanks to the scholarship, I can focus fully on my studies, for which I am truly grateful. I plan to use the scholarship primarily to cover tuition fees, essential study materials, and other costs necessary for my education and training. The preparatory program at the Bekka offers extensive support to students, with a variety of elective courses that provide a solid foundation for further education. It greatly benefits students preparing for university by offering a curriculum tailored to expand their possibilities. In the future, I hope to apply the knowledge I gain in Japan to contribute to the development of education and technology in my home country. I also aspire to promote Japanese culture and serve as a bridge between the two nations.

■Mx. JIA ZHENGXIA (China)
I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to receive this scholarship. With this support, I plan to reduce my part-time work hours and focus more on my studies. At university, I am studying social welfare and hope to further specialize by pursuing graduate studies in the future. For my career, I aim to obtain a national qualification and work in the caregiving field in Japan. Additionally, I will actively participate in international exchange events and festivals between Japan and China. I will continue to strive for success and make the most of my life as an international student.

■Mx. RUPA HALIMA ISLAM (Bangladeshu)
Receiving the scholarship has brought me immense joy, along with feelings of relief, gratitude, excitement, and a sense of accomplishment. It also represents a significant step toward achieving my educational goals, as it decreases my financial burden and opens new possibilities for the future of Bangladesh. Bangladesh and Japan have long enjoyed a strong affinity, with Japanese culture, living standards, and information technology being highly admired. For those who wish to learn Japanese or pursue higher education in Japan, I strongly recommend studying abroad in Japan.
