本書は、2024年3月発刊の『租税紛争ーその誘因、実態と処理』の英語版であり、世界屈指の大手出版社（Wolters Kluwer）から2024年6月に発刊されたものである( This book is published in June 2024 by the globally-renowned publisher Wolter Kulwer Corp. and an English version of the book (Sozei Funso) published by Zaikei Shoho Cor. in March, 2024)。本書では、我が国の租税争訟件数は、諸外国の場合に比べて少ないが、そのことは必ずしも課題がないことを意味しないところ、その課題とは何かを分析・探求し、課題への対応策の選択肢を主な諸外国（米国、英国、豪州、NZ、愛国、蘭国など）の制度や取扱いなどから示唆を得て提言することを主な狙いとしている( This book attempts to draw insights from the systems and practices in such countries as US, UK, Australia, NZ, Ireland, Netherlands, etc. that relate to the resolution of tax disputes and make reform proposals for addressing challenges facing Japan on such issues as enhancement of access to justice and protection of taxpayers' rights)。各章の構成は以下のとおりである( The book is composed of the following Chapters )。への対応策の選択肢を提示する。
